Yen-sama's picks of really good Sailor Moon websites!
21st-Sep-2009 11:52 pm
Trunks Minako 4

These are for casual Sailor Moon fans who would like to delve deeper into the series.

Dear Mod: Please link to this post on the Profile page! It would be a great resource for anyone, new and old, to the fandom!

General Information

MoonKitty.Net - Features like the Friday News Round-up and Moonie Music Monday will keep you coming back for more
Moon Chase
- An ongoing project to petition the re-release of Sailor Moon in North America.
Genivd - An up-to-date Sailor  Moon News Website and Blog.
Sailor Moon Uncensored - A very good website that compares the North American Dub with the original, episode by episode.
Castle in the Sky: Sailor Moon - A rather old school website focused on little amusing tidbits in the series
The Manga of Naoko Takeuchi - A website dedicated to translating... well, the manga of Naoko Takeuchi xD
Sailor V Headquarters - an extensive Sailor V resource.
MangaFox: Sailor Moon - Read the Manga here!
MangaFox: Sailor V - Minako's very own manga!
Sera-Myu.com - Another renowned Myu resource!
The Sailor Senshi Page - An oldie! This site has thousands of articles on Sailor Moon. This is where the osmosis in my brain started to absorb Sailor Moon information back in the day. xD
The Oracle - Pretty big encyclopedia type website. There's image galleries for each episode, and has a multimedia section worth checking out.
Wikimoon - It's the Moonie's Wikipedia!
Grep Sailor Moon - The really old host of the "Crescent" community. While it's not very active anymore, the extensive Sailor Moon Series FAQ by Ken Arromdee is worth the read.

Sailor Moon Center - Remastered Sailor Moon Episodes from Region 2 DVDs for your downloading pleasure!
SeraMyu Antics - A huge resource site for Musical Multimedia
Dreaming Moon - A huge directory of Sailor Moon trading cards
Sailor-games.com - Pretty cute, lots of original content, and even a download section where you can get an emulator and various Sailor Moon platform games.
Sailorvgame.org - Another gaming resource. Also has lots of fan-made games as well.
MangaStyle! has scans of all of the Artbook images, including The Infinity artbook and the Materials collection
SailorMusic.Net Every Japanese Sailor Moon CD and Soundtrack for download. Also has quite a collection of rare tracks and internation singles.
Chibi-Usa's Sheet Music - A huge collection of tons of piano sheet music, for the little Mozart in you.

Fanart, Fanfiction, and Doujinshi

Chibiland! -  A website by our very own chibijennifer . "As cute as it sounds!" ~ [info]jo_fitz
Moonsticks! - chibijennifer 's Sailor Moon webcomic.
Sailormoon.biz Doujinshi out the ass
Simple Sweetness - A cute Doujinshi by look_ish_etta

Character Shrines:

UsagiAndMamoru.com - Self explanatory

Usagi's Legend - khaleesi 's very own Sailor Moon Musical Distributor!

If something else should be here, let me know.

Also: GeoCities is closing down officially on October 26, 2009! If anyone knows of any interesting and informative Sailor Moon on Geocties, please link to them so we have the opportunity to view them and save them before they're no longer available!

I run a Sera Myu distro, like Djen used to run before she closed down in 06 or something like that. I can post a link if you think anyone would be interested. Just offering. Hope I don't offend anyone, cause I swear that's not my intention... :)
22nd-Sep-2009 05:09 am (UTC)

No, what's the link. I'll add it xD
22nd-Sep-2009 05:11 am (UTC)

Whoa, I can't believe Castle in the Sky is still around! And it still looks exactly the same, wow. XD Takes me way back.

There was also http://sailormoon.org/ which was one of my biggest sites that I was a part of back in the day. Don't know anything about it now.

I don't think I'll be adding Grep Sailor Moon to the links list. It's a little outdated and doesn't really offer anything useful, other than a super-confusing series FAQ.

add http://everlasting-moonlight.info/simplesweetness/ to your list, if you would. I think it deserves to be on here.

Also, moonsticks!

Also, the link to why you shouldn't support sailor moon fansubs links to nothing!

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be taking SMFS off the list anyway since Bob can't handle the internet very well.

Hi, I was wondering if you have an affiliates page/section/dumping ground/whatnot (though I suspect it may be this page? XD)? In any case, would you like to affiliate with sailormoonland? XD
8th-Apr-2010 07:59 am (UTC)
This is just a links page I created for fans who need to find series materials. I'm not a mod for sailormoonfans, and you should PM iwontsayplease in regards to affiliation because she's the maintainer.

You can download episodes from Veoh.com, actually. You just have to download their webplayer.
